The Foundation believes that your gifts make a difference and help create a bridge to our collective future. The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public benefit foundation that relies on a wide variety of funding sources, both private and corporate, to advance and support its work to improve the quality of life for residents throughout the San Francisco Peninsula area.
The Board of Directors generously provide their time on a volunteer basis and most administrative costs are underwritten by them. The Foundation does not have staff and all of the work of the Foundation is performed by volunteers. Your donation will have a direct impact on communities throughout the San Francisco Peninsula and help the Foundation to further its mission because none of the funds go to overhead costs.
While unrestricted gifts allow the Foundation the greatest flexibility to use funds where they are most needed, you may generally designate your gift for educational development, economic awareness, international awareness and involvement, physical and mental health and political awareness and involvement.
The Foundation encourages you to donate by giving online now, opening a donor-advised fund or leaving your legacy. The Foundation is always happy to assist with identifying the proper vehicle to direct your contribution. Thank you for your generous support.

By giving online, you can also dedicate a one-time donation in honor of someone. To dedicate a donation, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, the amount donated and the name of the person that you would like to honor.
For each online donation, a 2.9% fee will be deducted. This amount is the fee charged by our service provider for processing each credit card transaction. Please complete your online donation through PayPal.
DONOR ADVISED FUNDS
The Foundation is available to help you direct your contributions based on your personal interests and wishes. Donor-Advised Funds create a working partnership with the Foundation. Through your Donor-Advised Fund, you can make specific recommendations for grants to particular focus areas or nonprofit organizations in writing. The Foundation maintains complete records of your donations to avoid any additional administrative or reporting requirements associated with your Fund. There is no requirement to recommend grants by year-end and you will be able to take a charitable income tax deduction for the full value of your contribution for the year in which you make a contribution to your Fund. LEAVING YOUR LEGACY
The Foundation is able to partner with you and your family to help you bequeath a sum of money, a percentage of an estate or a particular asset to the Foundation. Whether designated for a specific purpose or unrestricted, in your memory or in that of a loved one, the Foundation can work with you to create a lasting tribute.
